The Great British Beer Festival 2014
Styled as the “biggest pub in the world”, this annual festival will boom once again to celebrate all things beer this 12th August! It has something for everyone and to suit every taste!
Officiated by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), offers around 450 beers from British breweries, as well as around 200 foreign beers from countries including Belgium, Germany and the USA. Traditional British cider and perry is also available. So you’d better arrive thirsty!
The Great British Beer Festival 2014 is completely staffed by unpaid volunteers, around 1000 of whom work at the festival.
As you make your way through the bustling circuit of recognisable breweries, you will be entertained by a whole host of live music including The Bad Shepherds, Bournemouth Carnival Band and Chaminade String Quartet, to name a few.
“If you’re looking for a little enlightenment, the tutored tastings will allow you to not only sample a selection of beers but also gain an insight into the diverse world of real ale and cider. You’ll learn how chocolate and beer marry together, discover the history of Belgian beer and experience an all-American tasting experience like no other with Justin Hawke, head brewer at MoorBeerCompany” Olympia London
